“As such, these autos fail to adjust to the necessities of Federal Motor Automobile Security Customary (FMVSS) quantity 141, ‘Minimal Sound Necessities for Hybrid and Electrical Automobiles,'” the company continued.
A complete of 73,528 autos are affected by the recall, though solely about 1% of them are more likely to have the defect.

The recall numbers are 26TB08 and 26TA08.
Toyota sellers will replace the software program on the affected autos freed from cost to repair the pedestrian warning sounds.
