The U.S. and Iran are poised to carry contemporary talks on Tuesday in Qatar’s capital, President Donald Trump stated through social media on Monday, following a weekend of hostilities within the Center East.
“IRAN HAS REQUESTED A MEETING. IT WILL TAKE PLACE TOMORROW IN DOHA!,” Trump stated in a publish on Reality Social.
There was no fast response from Iran, though a senior Iranian official had denied that any technical talks have been anticipated to happen in Doha over the approaching days.
Trump’s publish comes after the U.S. and Iran exchanged a collection of strikes over the weekend that threatened to derail negotiations aimed toward ending the battle.
U.S. officers stated each side would pause hostilities and permit business vessels to transit the strategically very important Strait of Hormuz.
It is a growing story. Please examine again for updates.
